GC-2014 Gas Chromatography System

Shimadzu GC-2014 Gas Chromatography (GC) System is an excellent option for routine analysis with its efficient working principle. Both packed column and capillary column are suitable for use. It is a model in which the working area can be expanded by adding different injection units and detectors. It is especially recommended for analyzes with TCD detectors and inorganic gas analyzes.

Shimadzu GC-2014 GC device includes a self-diagnostic function to prevent downtime and maximize laboratory efficiency.

  • Feature of using filled and capillary columns
  • Carrier Gas Control: Digital adjustment with electronic flow control unit, AFC (Advanced Flow Control)
  • Sample Injection: Split/Splitless, direct injection unit
  • Detectors: FID, TCD, ECD, FPD, FTD
  • Possibility to add an autosampler with a capacity of 12 vials or 150 vials

Easier to understand, simpler operation

  • A large LCD displays chromatograms and method parameters.
  • Graphical popup screen that clearly guides operation so that operation errors are prevented.
  • The built-in Help function almost eliminates need for familiarization training.
  • Self-diagnostics validate that the instrument before injection. Regular diagnosis prevents unexpected downtime.

Performance lifted to a higher level

The GC-2014 Series Gas Chromatography systems is equipped with the advanced flow controller (AFC) technology. This digital control is standard for not only capillary columns, but packed columns as well. Accurate flow rate control via AFC has higher-level repeatability of retention time and peak area, enabling a higher level of analyses.
