Our seminar, “HPLC Columns and Advanced Application Techniques” which was previously held on November 8th 2007 at Istanbul Hilton Hotel was held this time on March 28th 2008 at Ankara Sheraton Hotel.
The seminar in Istanbul was pharmaceutical and chemical industry oriented whereas the participants of the seminar in Ankara were mostly academic and research staff from Engineering, Science and Agricultural Faculties of Universities, experts from state laboratories and research institutes and delegates from private sector. Main subjects involved were HPLC and its Seperation Mechanism, HPLC Seperation Techniques and Chemical Modification, Selection of Packing Material and Physical Properties of Columns, Theoritical Approach to Chromatography Columns, Effects of HPLC Parameters on Chromatogram and Column Problems and Solutions. During the last part of the seminar, a short introduction to Shimadzu Prominence UFLC instrument was made. The technology of Prominence UFLC which assured fast and high performance seperation gained interest among HPLC users.
We would like to thank to all participants those who showed interest to our seminar and who expressed their gratitudes. And as Ant Teknik, we are pleased to inform you that we will continue to organize similar events also on different subjects.
