Bromat ion analysis in drinking and using water is carried out under normal conditions with ion chromatography method. However, in natural mineral waters of high mineral content, the peaks of Chlorite (ClO2-) and chlorate (ClO3-) ions especially interfere and determine the peak of bromide (BrO3-) anion.
LC-MSMS makes it possible to perform quantitative analysis of the respective anion independently from these interferences due to the high selectivity and sensitivity of the method.
