Cytation™ Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Reader

Cytation™ is a uniquely integrated, configurable system that combines automated digital widefield microscopy
with conventional multi-mode microplate detection to provide phenotypic cellular information and well-based quantitative data. With up to 60x magnification, the microscopy module provides high-quality cellular and subcellular visualization.
 
The multimode detection module provides high quality quantitative and qualitative data in all detection modes. All controlled with Gen5™ software, specifically designed for uncomplicated processing of even the most complex assays.

  • Automating the Wash Steps of ELISpot Assays using BioTek’s 405 TS Microplate Washer

    Enzyme-linked immunospot (ELISpot) assays are a flexible and powerful tool for investigating secreted molecules from whole cells, particularly for analyzing the immunological functions and responses of peripheral and lymphoid white blood cells. Here we describe a convenient and effective method for automating the most tedious aspects of conducting ELISpot assays using the versatile 405™ TS Microplate Washer.

  • Plaque Assay

    A cell monolayer is treated with a dilution of a GFP-expressing virus. The cells are then coated with agar, which limits the virus spread to only neighboring cells.After incubation, GFP+ circles of infected cellsare counted for virus titration.
