iSpect DIA-10 Dynamic Image Analyzer

Shimadzu's iSpect DIA-10 Dynamic Image Analyzer combines particle size and image analysis technology to offer complete particle characterization.

The iSpect DIA-10 can perform particle imaging, size analysis, and foreign object detection. The system can obtain size distributions and number concentration, in as little as two minutes.

Features
● Reliable particle detection system
● Unmatched functionality and performance
● Easy to use

Particle Homogeneity

Particle homogeneity is affected by mixing and emulsification methods and is a very important factor for the quality of emulsions.

The iSpect DIA-10 can control particle size, particle shape and particle concentration to indicate the quality of emulsions in a single measurement.

All these features of the system provide great benefits in the analysis of emulsions such as eye drops, which have an important place in the pharmaceutical industry for applications including “Characterization of Particles in Suspension Eye Drops: Determination of Maximum Length of Irregular Particles”.

The iSpect DIA-10 dynamic particle image analysis system is an example of analyzing particle shape, size distribution, and concentration by obtaining particle images of a mixed sample containing both spherical and acicular particles and the maximum length of particles from a suspension eye drop.

The system is also used in the bio pharmaceutical industry for applications including “Characterization of Insoluble Invisible Particles in Biopharmaceuticals by Flow Imaging Method”.

Although biopharmaceuticals have a great effect, they have few side effects because they specifically attack pathogens. On the other hand, when compared to small molecule drugs, their resistance to stress is low and they aggregate easily.

If the aggregation formation of a biopharmaceutical occurs as a result of stress; it is stated that the effect of the biopharmaceutical as a drug may decrease or disappear. In addition, the possibility of serious side effects, including shock induced by an immunological reaction, has been identified.

Based on the flow imaging method, the Shimadzu iSpect DIA-10 Particle Size Analyzers System can be used to obtain particle imaging of particles in liquid samples and analyze the particle size distribution, concentration and shape.
